Hello, just picked up a suzuki quad runner 160 for my grandson. Need a little work but i runs good. My question is, where are the serial numbers to tell me what year it is. I went on u tube and some of the pictures there tell me its about a 1997 or 1998, also there is a black button on the right side of the carberator, and a cable that goes up to the handle bars ( i think its the choke cable.

I dont know how this works, do you pull the cable or push the button, or the other way around? And what is the shift pattern, up and down and how many speeds is it?
